Claude Dumas

The style of all my photographs is "photo realism", which I define as the intent of reproducing as much as possible the perception I had of the photographed scenes, that is color, depth, lightning, luminosity dynamic range, etc. I acknowledge that perception is a construction of the brain. I never add, remove or substitute objects (clouds, sky, people, AI-filled content, etc) from the original photographs taken : none of my photographs are composite . Post-processing is minimal (e.g. tone mapping, color balancing, sharpening, noise reduction, etc) and all optical effects are real (no artificial bokeh, AI manipulation, etc).
